We hand blend our own loose leaf teas and serve them within our own tea room in the heart of Gravesend. Additionally we sell them next door in Marie’s Emporium as well as online, on our own site, Etsy and Amazon. Furthermore We have been Given Produced in Kent Status.

Here at Marie’s tearoom we serve a diverse menu covering light bits and main plates for any time of the day, and of course afternoon tea and cakes.

We Take pride in our community feel and work closely with local groups. Furthermore we offer free training and support to all our staff and offer a unique experience. We actively encourage staff to explore their interests. We are a family run business with my nan at the heart “Marie”

And in our sister company located next door, you can get a little bit of everything. Joining our tea range we have freshly roasted coffee beans and luxury hot chocolate. We also make soaps, incense, shampoo bars and many other skincare/bath products. We have also been lucky enough to source great pieces of jewellery and gemstones to add to our growing range. But that’s not it If you prefer to bake cakes rather than eat them, or both, then look no further. We have all you need at Marie’s Emporium from boards, boxes, tools, sugar paste and so much more.

Have you heard of Chalk ‘N’ Teas? We’ve recently opened a lovely little tearoom in the wonderfully charming town of chalk! Serving our unique blends of tea as well as out signature afternoon teas you love! If you’re in the area pop in and say hello to our friendly staff and sit down for one of our fantastic teas!

Also selling our wide range of teas and coffees is the immersive laser survival experience Future Survival

Take a look at some of our reviews for our tea room in the heart of Gravesend.

Terry LearVisited Marie’s Tea Room’s today, we had two takeaway’s. Food was hot and very enjoyable. Coffee Hot and Good Quality. We had Cake for dessert, very fresh very tasty.

Adam BirdGood quality food with more than reasonable prices. Service was very good. They had run out of sausage rolls which caused a minor melt-down in my four year old. But the genius of the chap who served us saved the day! He made a bespoke sausage roll out of a sausage and slice of bread, toasted under the grill – who knew the difference!

Christopher StoneReally lovely tearooms in the heart of Gravesends heritage quarter. Loads of choice on the menu for anyone and everyone, we attended with a vegan and a vegetarian and everyone was happy 🙂 Service was really good, prices reasonable and the place was busy throughout which must be a good sign. Definitely worth checking out.
