Call for Artists – Take Over Marie’s Tea Room!
Marie’s Tearoom is excited to invite talented local artists to take part in our Tea Room Takeover in Gravesend. Each month, we feature a new artist, giving you a chance to showcase and sell your artwork in a relaxed, cosy atmosphere.
This is a friendly artist showcase in Gravesend where customers can discover local creativity while enjoying the tearoom — ideal if you want your work seen by people who might not visit a formal gallery.
Here’s what you get from the take over of the tea room.
A whole month to display your work
Your work will be displayed for a minimum of 25 days, or the entire month, for our lovely customers to admire and purchase.
Sales opportunities
We’ll handle all the sales, and you’ll keep 75% of the profits. Our 25% commission covers protective packaging, bags, and card transaction fees — no extra costs.
Promotion
Your art will be featured on our social media, and we’ll display an artist bio or blurb next to your pieces to highlight your inspiration and talent.
Exclusive evening event
During the month, we’ll host a special evening event where you can meet customers, talk about your work, and celebrate your art with the community.
